Late 1996 - Bart Mennonite was approached with the idea of planting a church

February 1997 - Began monthly prayer meetings for discernment

August 1997 - Two home groups from Bart went to Andrews Bridge to “test the waters”

September 1997 - First Andrews Bridge home group met

February 1998 - The original home group multiplied to two home groups

June 1998 - Held VBS with about 100 children & adults present each evening

Fall 1998 - Third home group started; committed to starting Sunday Services

January 10, 1999 - Church Planter Ray “Butch” Marvin installed as Pastor

January 17, 1999 - First service at Andrews Bridge

May 1999 - The rented building was offered for purchase at $25,000

January 2000 - Building paid in full; became independent of Bart Church

October 25, 2003 - Withdrew from Atlantic Coast Conference, MC USA

July 11, 2004 - Pastor Butch finished his role as pastor

August 2004 - Enno Jurisson became Interim Pastor

June 5, 2005 - Vernon Myers installed as Pastor

September 2007 - Joined AMEC (Alliance of Mennonite Evangelical Churches)

September 21, 2008 - Adopted new Constitution

January 2009 - Ken Hash became Associate Pastor

February 2009 - Adjoining 5.2 acre plot available for purchase

March 2010 - Agreed on land purchase price of $150,000

January 2012 - Land loan paid in full

June 6, 2012 - Adopted new bylaws

August 2012 - Began construction of parking lot

September 30, 2012 - Parking lot dedication

February 2013 - Bruce Fite began part-time position as Worship Leader

May 2013 - Ken Hash began pastoring at St. Paul’s, Quarryville

May-August 2013 - Summer intern, Robert Hershey

September 29, 2013 - Parking lot paid in full

February 16, 2014 - Celebrated 15 years of God’s faithfulness!

July 7-11, 2014 - Refurbished Amity Schoolhouse for GPS Youth room

July 13, 2014 - Dedicated Schoolhouse

July 27, 2014 - Old Amity Schoolhouse clock comes "back home"
