Girls' Bible Study
Welcome to Girls' Bible Study
Hebrews 10:23-25 lays out an image of what the Girls' Bible Study is all about. All throughout the Bible, God encourages us to be in fellowship with one another. In fact, He knows our DNA needs it as evidenced by the creation of Adam and Eve. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, God tells us that "two are better than one", and in Matthew 18:20 we are told, "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” As we gather we encourage each other in and through the Bible.
Future meeting dates TBA. Times and dates are subject to change, so please stay tuned to our group's facebook page!
Bible Study begins with us all cramming into a living room and enjoying some delicious snacks. The first thirty minutes we talk about anything and everything (the week, school, friends, achievements, hardships, etc.). We encourage each other, laugh, pray, and sometimes get a little crazy! The next hour or so is spent in the Word of God. We dig in, get messy, and learn the truths He has for us!
We also take field trips which is mainly focused on building friendships (ice skating, sledding, movie night, or just the occasional water fight).
If you have any questions or would like more information about our group, please feel free to contact Erin Lelko at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope to see you there!
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
