Good morning,

It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is upon us.  That was a quick summer!  Labor Day weekend brings with it the beginning of the fall banquet season, when many of our partner ministries hold fundraisers.  These banquets/dinners/auctions are vital to their funding and typically involve a nice meal, live music, and some testimonies and ministry updates.

Here is what you need to know:

September 25

All-Nations Association of Bible Schools is having its fall banquet at Shady Maple.  Doors open at 5:30 and the dinner and program begin at 6pm.  If you are interested in attending you can contact the ministry at 717.517.1060 or by emailing them at aabsallnations@yahoo.com.  Reservations are requested by 9/4.

September 27

Cornerstone Reproductive Health sponsors a 5k walk and cornhole tournament (that’s two separate activities…you aren’t playing cornhole while walking a 5k) from 9 am – noon at New Church of the Nazarene.  Information about the event can be found on their website: pacornerstone.org

October 2

New Hope Counseling Center is having its annual Drop-In and Silent Auction from 5-8 pm at Providence Church, just north of Quarryville.  This event is a bit different.  Rather than having a program, you are able to come and leave as your schedule allows.  Different local restaurants have stations set up for you to visit and enjoy some of their dishes.

Tickets to this fundraiser are $20 (or $60/family).  You can purchase them by going to newhopeministry.info and clicking on the “Tickets for Taste of New Hope” button.

October 9

ICCM ministries led by Rev. O. M. Panicker is also having its banquet at the Eden Resort in Lancaster at 6 pm. Tickets to this banquet are free.  ABCF sponsors a table at this banquet…if you would like to go please see me.
